Due to the forecasted impacts of Hurricane Milton, Lakeland Linder International Airport will be closing at 12:00am Wednesday 10/09. The airport will reopen as soon as damage assessments are complete, the airfield is safe for operations, and it is safe for staff to return to the Airport.

Rental Car operations will close today (Tuesday October 8th) at Noon. Reopening will be based on storm damage assessment and the safety of staff's return to the Airport.
For our general aviation tenants, we recommend that customers contact their place of business before heading to the Airport to confirm their operating status.
Air Traffic Control Services will also cease operations at 11:59pm tonight. Reopening is planned for 6:00am on Thursday October 10th, but will be based on storm damage assessments, and the safety of the staff's return to the Airport.
